Collins Community Credit Union, a growing financial services institution, is now taking applications for a Real Estate Processor! This position is responsible for servicing Credit Union members throughout the mortgage loan process and ensure a seamless experience from initial application to closing.

Essential Functions:

• Demonstrate enthusiastic support of corporate mission, core values and long-term objectives. Performs duties within our bylaws, regulations, Board of Directors policies, established internal and external service standards and our work procedures.

• Analyze mortgage loan applicant’s income, assets, credit and collateral to ensure file accuracy prior to delivery to underwriting.

• Process and submit mortgage loan applications to underwriting for delivery to secondary market investors or the Credit Union portfolio.

• Understand the Credit Union’s loan policy and ATR (Ability to Repay) procedures and secondary market guidelines.

• Ability to utilize Credit Union training materials, reference tools and other resources to accurately and efficiently analyze the mortgage loan file.

• Ability to clearly communicate to internal and external members as well as third party vendors.

• Must possess effective knowledge of the Credit Union’s mortgage products, loan policies and services.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze income documentation.

• Order title/abstract.

  • Understand title and how to resolve title issues.

• Request third party services (PMI, flood, appraisal, title, HOI, etc.)

• Review/understand credit reports.

• Ability to multi-task and meet non-negotiable deadlines.

• Technology experience (CCCU systems/computer functions).

• Ability to communicate with all stakeholders involved with the loan file.

• Keen attention to detail

Working hours:

• Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm

• Occasional Saturdays
